Washington, DC (May 10, 2024) - The American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) joined over 50 partners in the agriculture, food, and equipment manufacturing community in Washington D.C. to showcase the role of agriculture innovation in the future of food.

The Celebration of Modern Agriculture on the National Mall took place outside USDA headquarters between the Smithsonian Museums. Senior administration officials and career staff from USDA, EPA, and FDA, along with over 50 members of Congress, 80 congressional staff, the public, and local media outlets attended to learn more about the role that science and technology play in agriculture. In its interactive display, 

ASTA highlighted the role of plant breeding in providing more sustainable outcomes for farmers and the environment.
