To the NSTA board and members,

Hello, I am Mariah Mitchell. I was born and raised in Southeast Iowa and am now a proud first-year graduate student at Iowa State University studying Seed Technology and Business. In 2021, I finished my undergraduate degree in 3 years from Western Illinois University, majoring in Agricultural Science and minoring in Plant Breeding.
I am honored to be your selection for the Northern Seed Trade Association 2022 Local Impact Scholarship. NSTA continues to make significant impacts within the seed industry and I am honored to be chosen as a small representation of that. I am entirely grateful for what this scholarship means to me, my furthering my education, and the work I will continue to put into the seed industry.
