Scottsdale, AZ (October 21, 2019) – The Pacific Seed Association (PSA) will hold its 94th Annual Convention January 12-15, 2020 at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ.

“The facility and setting are the perfect combination for interacting with everyone in our industry,” PSA President Martin Luttrell says. “Our convention program has been carefully crafted to showcase topics of interest for everyone – from various state crop improvement updates, a panel discussion on trucking and logistics, legislative updates, our PSA Annual Meeting, field crop reports to motivational and inspiring speakers.”

The program includes Marty Jakosa as the featured luncheon speaker on Monday. He will discuss the four imperatives of a great leader, communication – why it is so hard and the changing workforce. Pat Miller from the American Seed Trade Association will provide a federal and state legislative overview.

Additionally, Bill Spreitzer from Excellerate Solutions will give a highly interactive talk on identifying who and what matters most to you in life, work, and how to use your purpose to be motivated and engaged regardless of the circumstances you are faced with.

The annual golf tournament will be played at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club on the Pine Course, which features views of the mountains and pockets of desert infusion. For non-golfers, a “Paint and Sip” event will feature a preselected painting that a professional artist guides participants through, step-by-step. Everyone will leave with their painting to serve as a special momento.

“The goal of our program is to reinforce and reinvigorate our efforts to ensure growth and prosperity in the Pacific Seed Association as we continue to tackle new challenges in our markets,” Luttrell says. “Coming together to network as an industry will be key to our continued success.”
