Companies are proud to present their new distribution and service agreement for South America
(September 30, 2019) - South American agricultural production has grown considerably over the past ten years and continues to increase its worldwide export of a wide number of agricultural products.
According to Westrup, "expanding our presence on the continent has therefore been a part of our growth strategy for a while and we have been exploring our opportunities to find the best solution."
Oliver Manufacturing has long been a trusted partner of Westrup and working with them on a new Distribution and Service Agreement for South America has been a pleasure.
The new agreement grants Oliver Manufacturing the exclusive distribution rights of Westrup products in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. Also, Oliver will take charge of handling promotion, sales, and service of products sold in the territory.
Oliver has been present in South America since 1958, and in 2013, native Brazilian, Ian Ely, has been heading up the development of the South American business bringing in local knowledge and cultural expertise to provide customers with a high level of service.
Though Westrup has been present in South America for 30+ years, having a local located in and working out of South America, will ensure that customers have a contact they can communicate with in real time, a person who understands their business to the tiniest detail, and can provide the expertise and knowledge needed to succeed.
"We are certain that this agreement and the cooperation with Oliver will serve our customers best and we are looking forward to working together to provide our customers with the right solution for their processing needs," Westrup says.
