Alexander van der Heiden Appointed General Manager of Incotec North America

Salinas, CA (April 23, 2019) - Seed enhancement company Incotec announces the appointment of Alexander van der Heiden as General Manager of Incotec’s North American business. North America is an important market for seed enhancement. Incotec is active in both the vegetable and field crops markets and has production, sales and innovation facilities in Salinas, CA and Urbandale, IA. In his previous position, Van der Heiden headed the commercial operation for Incotec’s vegetable business worldwide and has a long history in agriculture.

Incotec’s Managing Director Erik Jan Bartels says, “Alexander has in-depth knowledge of the market and a great deal of experience. This new structure will help us strengthen customer responsiveness and further our business in North America.”

Van der Heiden will be based in Salinas and have responsibility for the Salinas and Urbandale facilities. With extensive modernization of the Salinas site recently completed and the opening of a new Innovation Centre in Urbandale, Incotec is well-equipped to deliver innovation and quality products.
