
Alvin, TX (March 4, 2019) - RiceTec AG announced on January 28, 2019 the acquisition of the rice seed assets of Ganga Kaveri Seeds of Hyderabad, India.
Ganga Kaveri Seeds is a leading provider of superior rice seed genetics that has been serving Indian farmers for over 30 years. Ganga Kaveri and its “GK” and “Spriha” brands are recognized across India as reliable suppliers of high-quality seeds. The scope and performance of Ganga Kaveri’s product portfolio has supported the growth of the company by providing sales representatives with the right technology to meet the needs of individual growers.
RiceTec entered the India rice seed business under the Savannah brand in 2010 and has quickly grown to become one of the leading providers of hybrid rice seeds.
