Incotec, a seed enhancement company and sponsor of the International Seed Federation (ISF) Golf Tournament, donated 5,000 euros to a charity selected by the tournament’s winning team.

The winners —Antonio Villarroel, Eduardo Negre and Bruno Hoeltgebaum — chose Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona to receive the donation. The organization provides support and assistance to individuals and families experiencing poverty, social exclusion and other vulnerable circumstances, helping them improve their quality of life and achieve greater stability.

The tournament was held May 17 in Lisbon, Portugal, and serves as the traditional opening event for the annual World Seed Congress.

Incotec said its long-standing sponsorship of the tournament reflects the company’s support for the World Seed Congress and the work of the ISF on behalf of the global seed sector. The company also noted that the event provides an opportunity to contribute to charitable organizations selected by tournament participants.

"As long-term sponsor of the golf tournament, we gladly support the World Seed Congress and the work the ISF does for the seed sector," said Incotec Global Business Director Bruno Hoeltgebaum. "At the same time, we have the opportunity to support a good cause such as the one chosen by the winning team this year. We are already looking forward to the 2027 edition, which will take place in Toronto, Canada."
