The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and the Michigan Corn Growers Association joined 263 other organizations in signing a letter to Congressional leaders urging swift action on a comprehensive Farm Bill 2.0. The letter emphasizes that while some agricultural provisions were included in budget reconciliation, they cannot replace a full farm bill. It calls for prioritizing debate and passage of legislation that reflects the evolving needs of American agriculture and rural communities.
The organizations offered their expertise and the voices of their rural communities that will be most effected by the absence or passage of a full farm bill.
