The Indiana Crop Improvement Association (ICIA), a leading provider of seed certification and laboratory testing services, in mid-August held a 125-year open house celebration at its facility in Lafayette.
The event brought together industry leaders, stakeholders, and guests from across the region to commemorate the company’s legacy, growth, and future.
The event featured guided tours, historical displays, a catered lunch, and 125th anniversary gift bag for all attendees. Guests included ICIA member-customers, ag industry representatives, seed and ag media and former ICIA staff members.
“We are honored to celebrate 125 years of service and innovation within the seed and grain industries,” said CEO Craig Nelson. “This milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of ICIA’s employees, the support of our clients, and the loyalty of our members.”
Event Highlights
Highlights of the event included presentations from ICIA’s past leadership, as well as a commemorative timeline that highlighted the company’s evolution over more than a century. The celebration also included a look ahead, with a preview of upcoming initiatives and a renewed commitment to growth and innovation.
