DLF Appoints New EVP and CEO for Oceania

(March 12, 2025) - DLF announced the appointment of Hugh McDonald as Executive Vice President and CEO for Oceania, effective May 19.

McDonald was selected after a thorough search process from a strong line-up of candidates. He possesses the necessary skills and mindset to safeguard the business, enhance organizational resilience, and ensure continued development throughout the value chain.

McDonald has been with PGG Wrightson Seeds, part of the DLF Group, for 11 years, and currently serving as the General Manager for Supply Chain in the region. He brings over 25 years of experience in the agribusiness sector in Oceania and currently holds a board position with the New Zealand Grain and Seed Trade Association.

McDonald will also join the Executive Management Board of the DLF Group, where he will play a key role in driving the continued development of DLF as a global organization, seeking synergies across the value chain while maintaining strong local roots in diverse geographies.
