Crippen Northland provides seed cleaning systems and equipment including air/screen cleaners for seed cleaning plants in Canada and the United States.
For more information, see the Fourth Quarter issue of Seed Today.
Crippen Northland Superior Supply Co. represents Q-SAGE, Inc., who manufactures conditioning equipment for the seed, grain, edible bean and pulse industries.
According to Crippen Northland Owner Tracy Bjerke, the primary product line is “Precision” air screen cleaners. They also manufacture bean and pulse polishers and high capacity “PRE” cleaners.
“One major key with Crippen Northland’s experience and Q-SAGE’s design and manufacturing feature is our ability meet specific customer requirements,” says Bjerke. “Q-SAGE can retrofit modern new conditioning and processing equipment into existing plant footprints allowing for reduced overall costs of equipment and plant upgrades.”
Another feature, Bjerke says, is that Q-SAGE can manufacture a cleaner to accept legacy screen inventories from a wide spectrum of other manufacturers’ units.
Crippen Northland Superior Supply Co. and Q-Sage Inc. were established in 2004 and 2007, respectively.
Bjerke adds the Q-Sage facility utilizes modern manufacturing technology, including laser cutting, robotic welding, and numerous CNC machining centers.
Bjerke says Crippen Northland provides customers with new air screen machines, indent length separators, bean and pulse polishers, gravity tables, destoners, and magnetic dirt/rock belt sorters.
He says the company also handles parts for all manufacturers of processing machines.
