PSA says to encourage college students to apply for the Pacific Seed Association scholarship
Sacramento, CA (November 4, 2024) - The Pacific Seed Association (PSA) wants to remind members of the College Scholarship Program, designed to support and empower future leaders in agriculture, horticulture, and plant sciences. This annual scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in fields related to the seed industry. If you know anyone in college and/or teachers to help spread the word please encourage them to share and apply.
The PSA scholarship program provides financial assistance to outstanding students who demonstrate a commitment to the seed industry, academic excellence, and a vision for a sustainable agricultural future. Each year, our association recognizes the next generation of professionals who are prepared to lead the way in advancing sustainable and innovative practices that benefit our communities, ecosystems, and economies.
Who Can Apply?
Students currently enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university, as well as graduate students studying subjects such as plant science, plant physiology, soil science, botany, agribusiness or a related field, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a strong academic record and an interest in pursuing a career in the seed industry or a related field.

Recipients of the PSA Scholarship will receive financial support for educational expenses. In addition to funding, scholarship recipients will gain access to networking opportunities within the PSA community and mentorship connections with industry leaders.
