Atlanta, IN (August 20, 2024) – Beck’s and the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) are pleased to announce the election of Scott Beck as the central regional vice president. Beck will represent Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin during his three-year term in this role. He is one of seven regional vice presidents serving ASTA, contributing to the organization's mission of advocating for the seed industry's interests.

As an elected officer, Beck will also serve as a member of the board of directors and the advisory council. His duties in this influential position will include:
- Attending all state, regional, and national ASTA meetings, ensuring that the voices and concerns of his region are heard and addressed.
- Acting as ASTA’s primary membership recruiter in the central region, promoting the benefits of membership and fostering growth within the organization.
- Reporting issues of interest and activities from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin to ASTA leadership, providing valuable insights and updates.
- Serving as a liaison on legislative matters at the state, regional, and national levels, advocating for policies that support and enhance the seed industry's growth and sustainability.
Beck brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing ASTA's objectives and supporting the seed industry's critical work in the central region.
