Sioux Falls, SD (August 16, 2024) - The Northern Seed Trade Association convened for NSTA 2024 July 16-18 in Sioux Falls, SD.
This year's convention featured a series of educational sessions designed to address current trends, challenges, and innovations in the seed trade industry. The educational sessions were followed by a tour of Boadwine Dairy and the USGS EROS (Earth Resources Observation and Science) Center.
The convention concluded with a President's Dinner.
Over 60 attendees came together not only to share their expertise and experiences but also to strengthen professional relationships and collaborations.
President's Recognition
At the NSTA Annual Conference, Chris Lee was recognized for his contribution as board president.
Although no longer president, Lee will continue to contribute to NSTA by becoming the new treasurer.
Incoming President
As NSTA prepares for a new year, they would like to welcome their new president to the board, Matt Kelley.
Kelley became the new president of NSTA in July.
He has been with Agassiz Seed and Supply for approximately 11 years, serving in various roles from production to purchasing/product management. He works out of the West Fargo, ND location as the Product Manager/Buyer for Forages and Cover Crop Seed.

The NSTA 2025 Annual Conference will be held July 8-10 in Minneapolis, MN.
