Bonner’s passion stems from 25+ years experience across the value chain, transportation and logistics, and commodity markets

Toronto, ON (July 18, 2024) – Cultura Technologies (“Cultura”), a global collaborative of businesses, people and insights focused on building a thriving and resilient agri-food system, welcomes Henry Bonner to lead strategic Corporate Development.

Bonner brings experience in origination, nurturing, acquiring, integrating, and growing founder and investor-owned and operated businesses in the Agri-Food space during his time at OpenLink Financial as SVP of Corporate Development, and later as President of the Agtech division.

With additional time spent in value chain optimization, climate tech, and maritime intelligence and logistics, Henry returns to Agri-Food with a clear idea of its challenges and how the path forward must be a collective effort. He also gives back to the community by donating his time as an advisor to various innovation and technology-focused businesses.

As SVP, Corporate Development Henry will work alongside Cultura’s leaders to support strategic plans, drive relationships and bring key Agri-Food players together to transform the industry at a greater pace.

“My passion for the Ag industry stems from the knowledge that we must continue to improve the global Agri-Food supply chain to support demand, improve security and surety and that this is not an impossible challenge, but it will be difficult,” shares Bonner.

He continues, “Process optimization, logistics, transparency, and market effects are just some of the factors we need to innovate to support demand growth towards the FAO’s extraordinary 2050 forecasts. Cultura is on the right path of bringing together Agri-Food focused people, capital, and technology alongside participation from the industry to support getting this done.”
