Austin, TX (July 16, 2024) - Bryan and Denise Gentsch provided the following update in "Special Edition - The Last Weekly Update" from the Texas Seed Trade Association.

"Sixteen years is a long time to do anything, even if you like it, and we have enjoyed it. It has been an honor representing the Texas Seed Trade Association, advocating your interests in Austin and beyond, managing the day-to-day, and organizing, and participating in, many of your group activities.

"It has been rewarding to bring you The Weekly Update focusing on seed issues and general agricultural issues with potential to effect your business. Thursdays may not be quite so regimented in our office anymore. Our Weekly Update open rate was over 75% with an industry average of 40%. We hope you continue to peruse the news and glean important tidbits that will, or might, impact your business.

"There have been many special people within the association, and outside the organization, that have made the years fast and easy. We cherish many fond memories. Virtually all of the search committee that recommended us, and the first board of 18 directors that we served, are long gone from the association and it's time for us to go too.

"The association is in a good financial position, and association leadership is focused and energized. Please support them to the best of your abilities. Goodbye."
