Rotterdam, The Netherlands (June 6, 2024) - The International Seed Federation (ISF) World Seed Congress May 27-29 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, was a successful event for ASTA’s International Team. 

After several days of productive ISF policy meetings, the ISF World Seed Congress kicked off its 100th gathering, with over 2,000 industry professionals from across the world in attendance.

Andy LaVigne, Drs. Fan-Li Chou, Sam Crowell, and Martha Malapi actively represented ASTA’s members in discussions on key topics including plant breeding innovation, environmental and social responsibility, market access and trade, genetic resources, seed health, seed-related innovation, value chain, systems approach, and combating illegal seed practices, among others.

According to ASTA, a highlight of the event was the participation of His Majesty, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.
