Joined Country Journal (predecessor of Grain Journal) in 1978 as editor.

Became sales manager (of Grain Journal) in 1982 and publisher (of Grain Journal) in 1986.

Born September 13, 1956 in San Angelo, TX.

Hobbies include reading and running.

Sports fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Blues, Boston Celtics and all University of Illinois teams.
