I’m Scott Campbell, president of Campbell Seed, Inc. My family has played an important role in the seed business for over sixty years. During this time we have made a number of innovations in plant research, planting, harvesting, conditioning, and warehousing that have given us a competitive edge

At Campbell Seed we utilize germ plasm from a multitude of sources. Our goal is to identify and produce the best genetics available. I find it interesting that some companies make an issue about how much money they spend on research. In my experience in the seed business I have never seen a pile of money select a great hybrid or variety. People select great hybrids and varieties.

At Campbell Seed we have the people with the expertise to evaluate and select the top performing genetic combinations. We are working to develop a wide range of biotechnically advanced seed products.
