"Growing has always been a Burrus tradition"
In 1935, the tradition started. Roy and Wilbur Burrus produced their first acre of hybrid seed corn. This initial acre of hybrid seed corn established the foundation of Burrus Power Hybrids.

Today, the company is successfully run by Martin Burrus (son of Wilbur) and his sons Tom and Todd. Each one is recognized industry wide for their contributions. Martin is president and handles the financial aspects of the business. Tom is in charge of product testing, sales and marketing. Todd manages the production side of the seed operation.
