Since our inception over 30 years ago, Betaseed has quickly grown to become the largest supplier of sugarbeet seed in North America and, in more recent years, has also become a significant seed supplier in various countries outside of North America.

Betaseed, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of KWS SAAT AG, Einbeck, Germany. KWS has been breeding and developing sugarbeet varieties for almost 150 years, and today the KWS group is the largest breeder and supplier of sugarbeet seed in the world.
