Arkansas Valley Seed Company was founded in 1945 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. It was named for the beautiful Arkansas River valley that courses through the Rocky Mountains and southeast Colorado. The "Rabbit Ears" brand and logo are derived from the high mountain pass in northwest Colorado.
Arkansas Valley has grown over the years to include five locations, as shown on our personnel directory. We have positioned the company to survive and prosper in the new century. We are now Arkansas Valley Seed Solutions, which is a part of the distribution group of Research Seeds, Inc.
Research Seeds is recognized as a worldwide leader in the development, production, distribution and marketing of proprietary forage and turf seed, and microbial products. The affiliation with Research Seeds assures our customers of access to new product developments, which will drive the seed industry in the new millennium.
The distribution group includes Arkansas Valley Seed Solutions, Olds Seed Solutions, Michigan State Seed Solutions, Indiana Seed Solutions and Minnesota Seed Solutions. This combination offers strength, stability and synergy for us to help keep our promise of cost efficient distribution and the customer service that you deserve.
