(October 31, 2018) - The global seeds group reported a revenue of DKK4.325bn (€580m) in 2017/18 which was an increase of DKK800m (€107m) compared to last season.
The acquisition of MariboHilleshög, DLF Moore Seed in Canada, and organic growth of approximately 3% have contributed significantly to revenue growth. Group EBIT totaled DKK247.9 (€33.2m). The Group's consolidated profit after tax was DKK184.5m (€24.7m), an increase of 15%.
Truels Damsgaard, CEO, points to several explanations to the financial result.
"Our international presence, together with a strong focus on research and product development, supply and logistics chain, means that we are well positioned to meet customers' diverse needs," Damsgaard says. "It has also resulted in more and new customers to DLF during the financial year."
