Portable closing machine
American Newlong’s NP-7A hand-held portable closing machine offers improved looper mechanism and nibbler style cutting system for trouble-free operation.
The NP-7A has a wider presser foot, hardened steel cam, feed dog and bigger throat plate for more positive feed of the bag for a smooth, even closure.
High speed closing head
The fastest bag closing machine in the market today is American Newlong’s DS9 high speed bag closing machine head with enclosed oil bath lubrication. It has a maximum speed of 2700 rpm.
Adjustable pedestal base
The A1-PB adjustable height pedestal base is American Newlong’s newest bag closing technology. The base will accommodate any Newlong sewing head or infeed for plain, crepe tape bound or bag-top fold over closures.
Standard features of the pedestal include clutch/brake, a thread stand to accommodate twenty pound spools, photoeyes for start/stop and knife actuation.
